Hello,

First let me say that what you have accomplished with GeoShell is nothing short of amazing.  I've had a look through your source code and as a .NET programmer I was stunned.

With that said, I have a few questions.

I came accross the sourceforge site for WinShellEx and was immediately interested.  If I read the description correctly, you can use WinShellEx to get the System Tray (Notification) icons, correct?

Let me explain what I'd like and see if it matches what WinShellEx can do:  I am currently developing a shell based on the LCARS system from Star Trek (you can see videos or download it at my site www.lcarsx32.com).  Some of my users (myself included) would like to see some representation of the system tray.  Since LCARS looks nothing like Windows, I'm hoping there is some way to silently interface with WinShellEx so I can continue to use the LCARS style but be able to load the system tray icons.

I reeeeaaally hope that WinShellEx will work for us, because there isn't a single bit of code on the net (that I've found) that shows how to intercept the System Tray's WndProc messages WITHOUT Explorer running.

Thanks
